Install

1. Download and extract lunote.koplugin.zip.
2. Copy the extracted lunote.koplugin folder into KOReader’s koreader/plugins/ folder.
3. Confirm the final path is koreader/plugins/lunote.koplugin/main.lua.
4. Restart KOReader.
5. Open a book, highlight text, and tap Explain.

API key

Lunote uses your own OpenRouter or OpenAI API key. Add the key to the plugin’s .env file as described in the included README. AI requests go directly from your device to that provider; this web app does not proxy or pay for them.
